"Breakfast burrito, hot." That's it. That's the order. That's all you need to know. Nick's has been a LBC/Seal Beach staple for years and years, slinging out breakfast burritos and sandwiches to the locals and tourists alike. I stopped in early on a Tuesday morning and there were several people popping in to pick up their breakfast, all with the same order (myself included). You gotta do it once. Chorizo, bacon, egg, cheese, and a generous amount of potatoes swaddled in a big ol' tortilla. Douse it in their tangy tomato-ey salsa and you're all set. Ooh, and they take card for payment now! But cash prices are still cheaper.

Great burritos for morning! I get them hot, without chorizo, and with avocado. Since 2008, I've been receiving them in this manner! Although I think it overpowers the other flavors, the chorizo is wonderful. When ordered without chorizo, the burrito has bacon, cheese, grilled potatoes, scrambled eggs, and either mild or spicy salsa. The avocado addition completes the flavor combo perfectly! It's a pleasant little restaurant as well; there are tables outdoors and a patio with views of a nursery garden.

Had a great breakfast veggie burrito . Salsa comes with a spoon and it was that good that I actually used the spoon for the salsa ! Fun very casual place to eat while stopping from a walk on the pier or down Main Street.

Nick's has been on Main Street, just a few blocks from the Seal Beach pier, for a very long time. The interior shows its age but it has a comfortable homey feel. There are multiple tables, most inside but a couple on the sidewalk, as well as a couple long counters at the windows. The fellow behind the counter was quite pleasant and made me feel welcome. They're known for their breakfast burritos but I was here late in the afternoon and desired a sandwich. Their various sandwich offerings (all at great prices) are posted above the front counter. I decided on a hot pastrami and accompanied it with a Snapple from their fridge. The sandwich was basic, made simply with yellow mustard, pickles and pastrami between rye. This is just as it should be. The pastrami was surprisingly excellent, the best I've had at a neighborhood deli (but of course not in the league of heavyweights like Langers in L.A.). I enjoyed every bite. The only downside is that I think it was heated in a microwave as the thin slices of rye bread kept falling apart due to moistness as I picked it up. I had to wrap it in napkins to keep the pastrami contained within the bread. I am often in the area so will be back for more sandwich action, I'm sure.

I've been eating at Nick's for over 20 years, getting the breakfast burrito toasted with avocado. It used to be something to ease my hangovers and is now a delicious breakfast to share with my kids. The food is always so good. I've tried a couple things on the menu - sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, Mexican food - which are all superb but I always go back to the breakfast burrito with chorizo. Nick's will even make bulk order, cut and wrap them in half, which is the perfect thing for a morning party. I had Nick's twice this week, per the request of my three-year-old daughter, so I felt it was my time to finally write a review.

My guy Loves this place for their breakfast burrito. I think it tastes pretty good too but i like to switch it up every now and then here. Got the green chili burrito. Couldn't eat more than just half. It's simple with beans and rice. I'd get it again. Used to be cash only but take cards now. Small spot. Usually busy for a good reason!

Solid local breakfast burrito spot. No frills, cheap, and hot. It's messy, but a good messy. 7/10.

Food: About to eat their breakfast burrito from a friend from yelp. Ambiance: very cozy. Like your typical mom and pop. Service: quick, no line. Middle of the day.
